Do you think that Guardiola is a brilliant manager, or is he lucky to have arguably the best club squad playing for him in the history of the game? Or both?

I know there is always talk of him leaving Barcelona, but would he be able to transform a Premier League team for instance?

dunno if it's been mentioned in this thread (off to work - no time to read!) but this morning on Talk Sport said the paper talk is all about a £40 million net offer for Pep to manage Chelsea :O

It doesn't matter who the new Chelsea manager is, a lot of funds will be required to ship in a load of new players.

Even with a huge budget he'd be crazy to trade Barcelona for Chelsea.

I think Pep is paying the price a bit now for focusing solely on attack rather than defence.

It seems strange to have essentially dropped Pedro and bought Sanchez (a similar sort of player) instead of investing in defenders - something they need.

Both Chelsea and Real Madrid exposed this very well.

Guardiola to quit Barcelona

Sky Sports sources understand that Pep Guardiola has told Barcelona he will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Barcelona boss has guided the Catalan giants to two UEFA Champions League titles in his four seasons with the club as well as a host of other trophies.

But the former Barca star's future has been a source of constant of speculation for months and the 41-year-old is understood to have finally confirmed he intends to bring his time at the club to an end.

A joint press conference will be held by Guardiola and Barcelona president Sandro Rosell on Friday morning at 11am.

The decision follows Barcelona's sensational exit from the Champions League at the hands of Chelsea in Tuesday's semi-final.
