Oh sweet! Really chuffed for you.

Glad I was able to help :).

Is it a done deal then? He mentioned that he was "working on it" at lunchtime.

Yea sorted it be done next week :)

Cheers again for that.

Does it need to be put in for a 154 point check, or does the clean bill of health from the recent service suffice?

It will need another check as we will be sort of starting over with the whole warranty business on this car.

Sounds good, nice one Joshy.

Since we seem to be speaking well of people when they help us out, I want to say that DiamondMark is a top chap, he gave me some much appreciated advice when I was hunting for my Jag, even took the trouble to phone me up a few times, including right when I was about to go and look at a car but I wasn't sure whether it was worth the price or not and really needed an opinion off some who knows the cars and such. He even offered me the half timbered steering wheel from his Jag as he prefers all leather ...now that is a really nice thing to do as well :) ...and was very much appreciated. Of course I didn't need it as it turned out since I managed to get an X350 rather than an X308 in the end. But it was the thought that counts.

...sounds like the Bentley training programme might actually be a 'little' more comprehensive than I imagined then :p ...it's all a cover I reckon. I'm thinking spy!

Oh and in the interests of niceness, I've decided it might be a good idea if I make an effort to try and be less on an argumentative git, I'm finding myself getting into 'forum fights' just for the hell of it now, which is silly really and makes me look like a bit of a ****. So I'm going to try and stop doing that. And while I'm at it, I would like to apologise to Robbie G for just such behaviour in the 'Show us Your Motors Thread' ...I still consider myself provoked somewhat but it was me that took the 'fight' too far and Robbie did only give me a taste of my own medicine really.

I like that, we are like the united nations now :)

You seemed like a nice enough guy when I met you and I prefer to judge people more by what they are like if I should meet them for real than what they come accross as being like on the forums.

I do like a good argument as well, thing is though I'll argue about anything, even daft things that don't need to be argued about. And I tend to take it too far as I just don't know when to leave it alone ...as my Mum would say "I'm like a dog with a bone".

I'd like to add my thoughts on Mark - a friend of mine recently had a pretty bad experience at Uni and thus will not live away from home now. Mark had a Merc A Class and offered it to her for free

Even went to MOT it and get everything sorted for her, sadly the car ended up needing more work than was worth it but I've never heard of someone simply giving a car to someone over the internet before! Appreciate all the effort that went into trying to get it all sorted for her :)

Thats called giving a bit back, it brings you luck, old ***** proverb :)

My Dad says that the more you give the more you get back (within reason) ...eventually. I'm not sure how true this really is but it's a nice thought none the less.
