I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this...
I have a Saitek X52, which when I bought it, it was worth £80, so quite a bit for a joystick + throttle. I used in BF2 and BF2142, and haven't used it since, I then tried to use it the other day and the buttons are quite 'sticky', and make rubbing noises when I push the triggers. If I sprayed some WD40 in to what's holding the triggers/buttons, will that sort it? I'd really like to use this joystick for Battlefield 3.

deffo use servisol over wd40 on switches. WD40 has solvents in it, which will eat away at whatever lubricants are part of the switches feel. Switches often become scratchy after wd40.

****** do servisol, it's useful for loads of other stuff too.

Just an update: Servisol 10 arrived today, I took the joystick apart and cleaned the trigger, I also used it to clean some residue from some of the sensors and now the axis are detected better as well.
Thanks.
