Hi all,

I have tried to play X3:R with keyboard and mouse and its not going that well for me so I am looking for a joystick.. Was looking to get one of the Logitech ones, Extreme/Force 3D Pro.. but after searching a bit here on the forum it seems like they only last 3-4 months or so, which don't sound good to me..

While searching many of you recommended Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2, but since it seems they are not being produced any longer you can only find them on the fleemarket.. where they have gone between £44 and £58 plus postage! Now, is that a reasonable price for this joystick or have they gone totally bonkers when bidding?

Apart from wondering about the price for a 2nd hand Sidewinder FF2, do you guys and gals have any recommendations for another joystick.. would prefer to not pay more then £30 for one but can be persuaded to pay a bit more if it is a stick that will last me for quite a while!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I appreciate any and all (sincere ones, that is :p) recommendations you might have! :)

I've got the Cyborg Evo and I coudn't work out how to configure its controls. Who really uses tilt left/right as yaw control like it is by default

Couldn't see how to change it to be sane, and use a mouse because of this.

The saitek cyborg evo is very good. I have the wireless version, i'd highly recommend it.

+1, for the cyborg wireless. Ive got one of these about a year ago and i love it, the only negative i can say about the stick is the location of the throttle its just in the wrong place.

Forget about FF sticks they arnt worth it.
