Jpeg rasterbator?

Hey guys
i'm sure you all know about the rasterbator:

it creates pdf files which is a bore for me - is there any rasterbator equivalent that creates jpegs of gifs? or is there a way to convert from pdf to jpg?

Photoshop and the GIMP both have a posterize function that blows up images. Give it a go if you like.

Are you sure it is posterize, just played with it myself being a bit of ignorant about photoshop and it just seems to reduce the number of colour levels.

How does that help me resize?

I bought Poster Maker , it blows it up to as many sheets as you want to print out.

Cost me £1 from Staples

GIMP doesnt do the same as the rasterbator as far as i can see... rasterbator turns everything into dots - i cant get gimp to do that!
is there no way to convert PDF to other pic formats?
