Jpeg view through windows XP

Machine has stoped viewing JPegs in windows picture and fax viewer, anyone any ideas? The picture and fax viewer used to work, now it just wont load

I used to find it a really useful little program for previewing

Thanks everyone, sorry for the slow reply - back at work - have tried all and it still wont open them - just nothing happens. I think the Picture and Fax viewer is corrupted - is there anyway to re-install? Cant find it in add new windows components

Any ideas?
