Hi,

I have a jpeg which appears just fine in Chrome and Firefox. However it fails to show up in any other browser (so far my phone and IE).

Any idea why the image isnt appearing?

Are you sure it is an RGB jpeg and not a CMYK version?. Can you post the image here?.

Is the file saved with a CMYK colour profile instead of RGB? I've had similar things happen in the past.

Re-save it for web in Photoshop if you can.

I created the image using illustrator and then exported it as a jpeg image. Shall check the properties when I get home.

I'm not 100% sure as I don't use it that much but I "think" Illustrator saves JPEG's as CMYK format by default. Opening the JPEG in something like Photoshop or Fireworks should allow you to save it as an RGB.
