JPG displayed during shut down - were is it?

My dads PC has a picture that has come from his camera at some point that was set as the wallpaper at some point,
It is no longer set as the wallpaper but when the PC is shut down the pic is displayed for a few seconds, the thing is we can not find the picture on the PC any were.
What or were do we need to look for anything that is displayed during shutdown?

Sounds like you have indeed still got it as desktop wallpaper but you are using Active Desktop which hides it. Is your Dad on Windows 98?

Its running XP pro, that hasnt got active desktop options has it? or has it?
i ran a search on it for jpg and bmp files and it didnt find it which i thought was odd.
