A while ago I was browsing for jquery examples and came across a really nice feature that gave a visual indication of adding an item to a shopping cart

E.g. On the page there would be a basket summary pane and a list of products. When i clicked the buy button a kind of rectangle would animate into the basket panel - hard to describe.

Does anyone know whats is called or what the jquery plugin is called, can't find it at all :(

Thanky

Have you tried looking in jQuery.ui - a lot of visual stuff has been moved in there and the development brought under the main jQuery umbrella.

FLOSS Weekly is a great podcast, Randal Schwartz has really got things moving again with it. Lots of interesting people/projects lined up for it such as XBMC, Arduino and RepRap. I find it interesting how long some of these projects have been around and how they actually started, often it is a personal requirement that evolves.

The planned show schedule is here.
