jQuery/JS to Post Form Data to New Window

I'm trying to build something inside my application that when a user clicks the submit button, it opens a new tab/window and sends the POST data for processing into that window.

Any ideas on how to start?

So you have a browser app, you want to open a new window and send it to a specific URL?

I want to open a new tab on my application that takes the post data from the original window and processes it in the new window.

Never-mind just adding target _blank to the form works. Was overcomplicating it..
