JS Timer in Table field

I have code for a JavaScript timer that i would like to put into a field in a table which i cannot get to work.

It is part of a form that will be submitted so i would like the timer to be in the "Test Time" field.

It will work if i put the id into <p></p> tags but not in a field.

Any Suggestion please??

Here you go. You need to set the value of the input, not the html.
