Yeah basically.
As long as you're not in full time education and actively jobseeking, should be fine.
I will warn you though its an absolutely demoralising experience. You get £40 a week and for that you have to visit the job centre which is stacked with by mentally underdeveloped reprobates on both sides of the counter. The absolute buttock crevise of humanity visits there every 2 weeks with you, and if you show a genuine interest in finding a job, good luck getting the staff to assist you as everyone else is just there to scrounge and they've become dead inside.
