Anyone seen the videos of Juan Pablo Angel's son? His dribbling ability looks quality and he also seems to have a decent shot too. Seems a little greedy and his passing seem to be pretty dodgy but that's what he'll learn along the way. I know it's far too early to say he's going to be class but it looks as if he has the potential if he keeps at it. Hopefully he'll follow in his dads footsteps and be walking out the tunnel at Villa Park one day :D.

seriously?

do you even know how many of these wonder kids ever make it? like 1 in a hundred million. just because they are good against a bunch of nobodies who have zero talent at age 8 or whatever he is doesn't mean he will be good enough to play up against the likes of Lucio and Vidic tackling you in 10 years time.

show me an 18 year old wonder kid who is unsigned and you might be onto something

Fantastic ability for someone his age (and older, tbh!), but as said...probably never see him in 10 years time.

There are a million of these "wonder" kids?

Stop spouting **** pl0x.

Mini-Messi

Exactly what I thought.

He will have a lot better chance at succeeding having a footballer as a dad compared to the other "hundred million".

Pretty much, theres also a little matter of puberty, when he's 18 he might have ruined knee's, or be 6'9 and a basketball player, or 5'1 and taking pills to try and get taller, he might be fast compared to everyone at 10 and slower than every other 18 yr old around. Complete mental to be thinking a kid that young might be a great footballer. Doesn't help when everyone else is turd aswell as you say, against another group of kids he could look hopeless.

Not really, its not like theres a huge number of footballers kids who become successful, quite a few try, not a lot make it, if you aren't good enough you aren't good enough, no matter who your dad is. Likewise, getting on a kids football team isn't restricted to who you know, theres thousands of teams and scouts everywhere.

A famous dad might be able to get a scout to come and look more easily than other dads, but scouts hear about the real talent and come and look anyway.

Look at Freddie adu. he made it onto football manager by 14. He finally seems to have found his level at Turkish second division outfit; Caykur Rizespor...but he still only 22...

let this thread die, its completely pointless, same as Maldini's son tackling Seedorf i think it was, etc. This kid most likely in 10 years time will be cleaning the toilets at Villa.

A video like this pops up every few months of the "next big thing".

He is playing against kids that look like they have barely kicked a football and the keepers didn't seem to understand that you were supposed to stop the ball.

Wait till he is 16 at least before we start to think if he will turn out well.
