Juddering while gaming

I have this question on another topic but no ones replyed so thought i would start one just for this question as its driving me mad or shud i say shes driving me mad moaning :p ..

I recently upgraded my patners pc for gaming .But it is juddering like mad in games like black ops and even in mohaa . Fps is good but just does it badly and i need to know how i can fix it .

Well heres whats she has .

Mobo Asus M4A78LT-M
Graphics . Shapphire hd 5850
Ram xms3 corsair 4gb
PSU, XFX PRO 550
Cpu . Amd Phenom II x 4 955

Its not a fps issue as its good & not the monitor .
I dont have a clue Tbh
 
ohh see plays she runs a mohaa clan, well we both do but shes on more than i am lol
..

It judders constantly ,graphics driver is up to date .

Saying hardrive with out looking im not sure but it is the old one from another pc its the only thing ive not changed
 
lmao loads play our servers are full most of the time ..

Its still a really good game and some nice peeps play not like the kids in cod lol
Saying that we have Cod servers also ...
Any way back to the topic lol need to sort it b4 she beats me cos she says it was better before i messed with it

no idea . also notice my fps is better than hers with same settings and we have same graphics cards but i have intel processor she has amd ...

Dont know what to do, does that hard drive seem ok , hard drive gets red hot i knw tht
 
sorry mate you lost me . I have no idea . all i know the games are set up same as mine setting wise .Its only just been built 2 days ago so defrag shud surly not be needed yet . may be thrown out window ..

If the settings are the same as mine why do i get like 100 to 180 fps in black ops she gets 40 to 80 .

Cud it be just due to my cpu being a I5 and hers a amd . But tht hard drives out of an old compaq and thats only think i never changed. can tht make a diffrence to fps rate also .
 
Just been looking at my power supply but probly not due to this but thought id mention we both have the xfx pro 550 w . mines ok . Her case around it is the wrong way round writing on the side is upside down and the power socket at the back and the badge are correct if you was to filp it over so you can read the writing on the side it wound make the back socket upside down and the badge . They messed up lol. fans right way round with it like it is . I thought there was something odd to mine when i put hers in . May be it would bother some one wanting it spot on but its ok with me

Its not the antivirus thats norton same as mine and ive looked but its not causing any problems .

The hard drive in hers gets quite hot so today im going to get her a new case and HD .

The HD at min is out of and old compaq im thinking its that as its getting hot and thats with the side of the case off all the time and with fans running
I will see what it does

Have you played it since cos you will be like wow its still dam good .
If not just try it theres still a lot of servers out there and players . You can always uninstall.

After playing like black ops and bfbc2 ive looked and thought for a really old game back then mohaa it still very good, And you can interact better one to one in with peeps and have a laff better than you can in the newer ones.
you forget just how good it is .
