Juddery performance on BF2142 titan mode.

When on a titan - the game seems to judder loads even with a decent frame rate and a good ping. I'm running everything max 4*AA/max AF on the following system

C2D 2.8
Xfi fatality
8800GTX
2gb RAM

It seems to judder loads when on the titan...surely my systems up to it?

Your system is up to it, unfortunatly the game isn't. Titan fighting is always laggy whatever system you have. I've not played the game in awhile so there might be some tweaks you can do to help it, I dunno.

LAst time i played thi sgame everyone was having problems with Titan battles. Having the titans close to each other and having someone "spamming" with the AA guns causes a lot of slowdown unfortunately. Stick to servers with the titans locked so they can't move and you can enjoy it more. (only problem is every mofo defends and never attacks )
