Jukebox Software

Hi,

Does anyone know of any decent Jukebox Software, or had any experience with any?

The reason for asking is that a friend of mine runs a small pup and asked if I wouldn't mind looking into trying to put together a touch screen jukebox for him.

One of the requirements would be to have an option to add a coin mech to it, and obviously a simple interface for customers.

Charge customers for playing a load of ripped off mp3's, the PRS people will have a field day

Now I might be wrong, but the PRS licence covers this as long as they are genuine burnt copies from a purchased CD or downloaded from a store?

No idea, they would have to check with PRS, but might do yes:-

What does a Music Licence cover?

A Music Licence permits you to play copyright music for your staff and customers, however you choose to play music (public performance). In your premises this might include:

Music on TV channels
Radios, CD & MP3 players, digital music systems
Music on hold
Live bands and DJs
Karaoke machines
