I really don't see the problem.

Weather starts getting colder, get home from work with a shirt on and feel a bit chilly so put a jumper on. You wouldn't take the shirt off to put a t-shirt on and then put the jumper on top.

I wear jumper over shirt in the winter, also means less of the shirt needs ironing, Collar and cuffs only.

I prefer to wear ironic t-shirts which reference some obscure video game. I couple this with over-sized cargo pants (event hough I'm very fat already). I smell of Lynx and my finger nails are stained yellow from my crippling Cheetos obession.

I laugh at people wearing a jumper and a shirt. It is just so uncool.
