I was wondering whats happened to this game?

I was casually excited about it, kept hearing updates sporadically but haven't heard any news for ages.

The website no longer exists, does this mean it will never get released?

I did try playing black prophecy but it lacked a certain something

It got killed off totally. I was watching it closely. Some of the community even tried to get the source so they could try and finish the game themselves but I don't believe anything got released

Yeah it died just before they were starting beta testing. Which was an awfull shame

Damn, was following this for quite a while. I don't get why people seem to cancel games when they're really far into development. The demos i saw made it look like it was almost finished.

Didn't it get to the beta testing phase? I'm sure I saw talk of people doing the beta testing.

Went to a Codemasters event in Birmingham after I won 2 tickets. NetDevil came over to show the game off as well as a LOTRO event.

I think there were legal issues and funding problems with Gazillion who were going to publish the game when Codies pulled out so it got canned.

Shame as it had promise but fell on its ass eventually

Surely to cancel a game so far in development is a huge waste of money? I would have thought to crack on and release would at least allow you to make small profit rather than large losses.

Just skip the beta phase and release it buggy, Seems to be the normal now days -.-

Its a shame, but infinity: quest for earth, looked like the much better version anyway. That still appears to be alive, but progress slow

, such a game would be massive and great. Why can't it get proper backing.

Infinity are looking into Kickstarter. That may kick progress up a notch. The excitement i have for infinity is indescribable. Every tiny spec of info they release gets me hyped!

As much interest IQfE has for me, you can only wait so long before you just put it on the back shelf, sporadically looking for updates.

Mind you Flavian doesn't look like he's going to leave it.

I think they are were being paid for a very long time but during that time they produced very little because they finished a game for another company. that is why they were sued I believe.

Court case with Codemaster's killed the game entirely. I was really hyped for JGE, such a shame.
