Jumping from a msi gd65 to msi gd80. reinstall windows?

sorry for the new topic, iv been offered a MSI gd80 for a very low price. Do i still have to reinstall windows? its the same brand. In the last topic i made people said its because im switching brand.

The only difference between these motherboards is a few extra PCI slots.
If i still have to reinstall windows ill just spend a bit more money on a decent microATX board like planned. (i know the gd80 isnt micro but for the price im getting it at its worth it £40 new and sealed)

There are two issues, the first is licensing. If you have an OEM version of Windows then it's a licensing "no".

The second issue is technical. If you're using Vista/W7 you'll probably be okay. If you're using XP then it's a bit of shot in the dark.

Well if i knew OS mattered i would have put it in. I have W7 64bit
