jumping mouse problems on hp pavilion dm1

im having a problem with the mouse jumping to where the cursor is sitting when im typing.
laptop is about 3 months old. hp pavilion dm1 1110sa

have installed latest drivers
done full virus cleanup

is there any known problems or fixes to solve this

Control Panel/Mouse properties/Pointer options/Hide mouse when typing

Select this

(assuming your on Windows 7 or Vista)

already checked and its slready set to hide. apperently its done it since day 1
i cant find any reason why it keeps doing it
seems to do it when typing long sentences.

I have just opened my girlfriends pavillion tx2000 as it was not booting up. I discovered that the gpu overheats too much and the solderballing falls apart so i reheated it and tried to reset the solder which has worked so far, however when i was researching the fault there was another one i discovered, which is what you are complaining of. Basically the mouse kept jumping to the corner of the screen. There is a fix for it too which i was trying to find before i rebuild the thing. Its also how i stumbled on this thread.
