Junction Box... or something else?

I was hoping that someone might help me.

I've got quite a nice setup at home where the phone line is delivered to a number of CAT5e modules around the home. (Keeping in mind the REN, of course!)

The setup at the master socket is as below - labels appear underneath.

1 - Openreach master socket with vDSL plate for fibre attached

2 - CAT5e cables; terminated at the other end with RJ45 connector, which are plugged into a CAT5e patch panel

3 - phone cables connected to Sky boxes

What I'm unsure of is what the item marked ? is called? It is plugged into the master socket.

The white and blue wires going into the ? are held in by a plastic patch/pressure, which come loose if it is moved around too much. Hence the black electrical tape trying to hold everything in place.

I'd like to replace it with something where I can screw in the blue and white wires... but without knowing what it is called (or what I should be buying), I haven't a clue as what to buy.

I bought a Junction Box from Maplin, but I don't think that it is the right thing.

Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks!

I may be oversimplifying things but can't you just connect the Cat5 cables to the user accessible side of the master socket like you would do with a normal phone extension?

The box marked ? is a Sky product. Sky engineers install them to split sockets for sky boxes and such.

Punch down your cat5 into the master socket, leave the sky boxes connected via the splitter.
