Jungle axed!

In a move that surprises nobody, Panasonic has axed their MMO only handheld citing "changes in the market." These changes probably refer to the 3DS and the NGP.

This was always a bad idea. An MMO needs full attention and a decent net connection. Also by limiting the handheld to MMO only, you've already lost a huge share of the market.

Those poor misguided fools.

I remembered reading about this a while ago and thought it was an interesting concept, however I always thought it was going to fail.

Handheld MMO? I only play my handheld consoles for short trips or waiting for a train. Though with modern Handhelds having better net connections now it may just work. It'll be a gamble though.
