Hi All,

Looking at annex M remote site solutions, Juniper SRX MINI-PIM for ADSL2/ADSL2+ says it supports Annex M HERE:

http://www.juniper.net/us/en/local/pdf/datasheets/1000311-en.pdf

However, Cisco HWIC's also say they support Annex M (with the exception of the UK Mask) and we all know the issues that causes.

Does anyone know/has exprience with the juniper PIM's? In particular, do they suffer the same fate?

Thanks,
TrX

I have heard they work fine but I've yet to try it first hand, I don't know the exact details but it appears virtually every ADSL mini-PIM Juniper have ever made supports annex M, even if they aren't labeled as such. Which seems to indicate it's done in software (which would partially explain the cost of Juniper ADSL interfaces). Depending how long you want to wait I'm planning to test it at home in the next few weeks (may have to wait until I'm back from California though..)

Thanks for the info! I think it will be a while before we can test ourselves so any testing you do would be well received if you could share the outcome on here.

We (may) have an SRX240 on the way however so if that happens in the meantime I may just grab a ADSL mini-PIM (as you said, fairly cheap) and try that before the SRX gets configured for it's real role.

Enjoy California.. Even if it's a work visit!
