The Past Life Memories of James Leininger
If he wasn't born yet, how could a 6-year-old Lafayette boy possibly remember a plane crash that occurred off the Japanese coast during World War II?
The Past Life Memories of James Leininger If he wasn't born yet, how could a 6-year-old Lafayette boy possibly remember a plane crash that occurred off the Japanese coast during World War II? By Wes Milligan
"When a child speaks of a past life memory, the effects ripple far. At the center is the child, who is directly healed and changed. The parents standing close by are rocked by the truth of the experience - a truth powerful enough to dislodge deeply entrenched beliefs. For observers removed from the actual event - even those just reading about it - reports of a child's past life memory can jostle the soul toward new understanding. Children's past life memories have the power to change lives."

SKorean scientists say cancer-killing virus developed
South Korean scientists have said they have developed a new genetically altered strain of virus which is highly efficient in targeting and killing cancer cells.
The new therapy developed by the team from Yonsei University uses a genetically-engineered form of the adenovirus, which normally causes colds.
The adenovirus was implanted with a human gene that is related to the production of relaxin, a hormone associated with pregnancy.
When injected into cancerous tumors, the virus quickly multiplies in the cancer cells and kills them, the team said.

U.N.: Ocean 'dead zones' increasing fast
NAIROBI, Kenya - The number of “dead zones” in the world’s oceans may have increased by a third in just two years, threatening fish stocks and the people who depend on them, the U.N. Environment Program said on Thursday.
Fertilizers, sewage, fossil fuel burning and other pollutants have led to a doubling in the number of oxygen-deficient coastal areas every decade since the 1960s.
Now experts estimate there are 200 dead zones, compared with 149 two years ago.

Seven Ways To Light a Fire Without a Match
Friction-Based Fire Making
Rubbing two sticks together is likely the oldest of all -fire-starting techniques, and also the most difficult. Besides proper technique, you have to choose the right wood for the fireboard and spindle. Sets made from dry softwoods, including aspen, willow, cottonwood, and juniper, are preferred, although a spindle made from a slightly harder wood, combined with a softer fireboard, can also work. The friction of the spindle against an indentation in the fireboard grinds particles from both surfaces, which must heat to 800 degrees?F before a glowing coal forms. This must then be transferred to tinder and -gently blown to life. Hand Drill
Using a hand drill is one of the simplest friction methods, but high speed can be difficult to maintain because only the hands are used to rotate the spindle. It works best in dry climates.
Step One Cut a V-shaped notch in the fireboard, then start a small depression adjacent to it with a rock or knife tip. Set a piece of bark underneath the notch to catch the ember.

Bacteria Found Nearly 2 Miles Underground
Scientists found a gold mine of bacteria almost two miles beneath the Earth’s surface.
The subterranean microorganisms, a division of Firmicutes bacteria, use radioactive uranium to convert water molecules into useable energy. Uranium is an element contained within the Earth’s crust and is an abundant source of energy.
The presence of such terrestrial organism raises the potential that bacteria could live beneath the surface of other planets such as Mars.
The researchers found the bacteria when they learned of a water-filled fracture [image] in a South African gold mine close to Johannesburg. Upon sampling the water they noticed something odd.
The water contained hydrogen and hydrocarbons that form when water exposed to radiation from rocks containing uranium breaks down. The age of the water and analysis of the microbes revealed that these bacteria parted from their surface relatives some three to 25 million years ago.

The Coca-Cola Recipe
Where The Coca-Cola Formula Came From
This Coca-Cola formula appears to be the original formula to Coca-Cola. An author named Mark Pendergrast wrote a book about Coca-Cola entitled For God, Country and Coca-Cola (you can click here to order the book). In writing this book he was able to interview just about anybody he wanted within Coca-Cola, and was also granted access to the vast archives of Coca-Cola. In reviewing archive material, he was presented with a book labeled:
Account and formula book
belonging to Dr. J.S. Pemberton
while a druggist in Columbus
He was told this was an early formula book (which would jive with the Columbus GA label). However, while reviewing the book Pendergrast came upon a recipe for "Celery Cola" and quickly realized that this was not an early formulary guide of Pemberton's. This was in fact a formulary book produced shortly before Pemberton's death, and there was a good chance that it contained the original Coca-Cola formula.
Pendergrast knew that "Celery Cola" was the recipe Pemberton was working on at the time of his death, and he was also aware of the story of Pemberton's apprentice and an old formulary book. The story went that a young man named John P. Turner went to apprentice with the elderly John Pemberton, and not long after starting his apprenticeship Mr. Pemberton died. Young Mr. Turner went back to his home of Columbus, GA., and took one of Pemberton's formulary books with him. In 1943, a son of Mr. Turner's happened to show the formulary book, which did contain a recipe for Coca-Cola, to a member of Coca-Cola's board. The board member managed to acquire the book from Turner's son, and no one had seen the book since (or at least until Pendergrast found it in their archives).
