So I had a sage oracle touch
https://www.ecookshop.co.uk/ecookshop/m/product.asp?pid=SES990BSS

It was a lovely machine but I was getting a lot of channelling and inconsistent coffees. I also preferred to pull a 14 g shot which is difficult with this machine.

So I bought the Jura E6 to go alone side it

I was really impressed with it. Decent consistent coffee even with average beans.

So I sold both and bought the z10

Which is a step up in build quality and has automatic adjustment for the coffee grinder.
I could not be happier.

If your looking for a bean to cup I can’t recommend Jura Enough

Holy ****, you must love your coffee. Very nice though.

I don't use my Sage anymore. It's too fussy. I just use my filter machine now and I'm tempted to get a Nespresso / equivalent as I just want to press a button these days.

For £2k, I'll stick with my Sage! :o

I quite enjoy the process of making a coffee. Doing the cleaning cycles on the other hand... I tend to leave it and wait to really want coffee again.

I paid £400 for the E6 which while its not as nice as the Z10 its about 80% of the way there so at that price point its really not bad.

I said to my self I will not buy any outside coffees for one year which will pay for the machine anyway, that man maths at work.

Probably get laughed out of park, but been keeping eye on the new ninja coffee machine and it seems to pull it's punches for £500.

Been holding out for a while as i want coffee shop level drinks, debating if i got a lever press as have manual burr grinder etc.

From reviews I've seen, even from the Hoffman it has a good writeup.

Only bit that makes me weary is the longevity of such a machine, if it broke after 2 years I'd be angry.

Yes it does not have a steam want but I did not buy the milk cooler.

I just have this
yes that's cool - I had a rancilio with a similar Panarello wand and separate milk intake
... and could fill the milk jug with a cocoa/sugar/milk mix for a hot chocolate (pre-dissovle cocoa and sugar in a bit of hot water)
