Jurassic Fibre Connection

Hey everyone,

Have recently moved to Devon area and Jurassic Fibre were the only decent provider (speed wise) that was available to me.

Was really happy with the process up until Monday this week when it was due to be connected. Have tried calling and emailing them to get an answer as to when it will be connected but no luck so far.

Do I bite the bullet and cancel with them and just deal with the slow speeds on Openreach or stick with them? Hotpsotting from my phone all the time is tedious haha.

Any input is appreciated.

The answer to this depends on why you haven't been connected. Have they just not answered the phone or replied to you at all, have they indicated it's a complicated install?

I'd be willing to put up with quite a lot of hassle for the initial install of an FTTP network if the alternative was to not have fibre, because installation is a one-time thing. If the company support is straight up awful though it would make me reconsider.

Jurassic have just merged with a few other companies, they’re not going under any time soon.
