Just a little problem...

Just built a machine (sort of) still waiting on the HD.

Although when I turn it on it powers on fine but theres no signal going to the monitor, I presume the graphics are dead but the fans going etc.

Just wondering what you think it is, i'll have to test the card in someone elses computer as I don't have another AGP system around.

The specs are:

Pentium D 805
Asus P5VD1-X
2X256mb Corsair value PC3200
9600pro, which I borrowed from someone so it may well be dead

Tested with a PCI card and it worked, so I still don't know if it is the graphics card or the motherboard

Did you try in other pc?

Sounds like G/Card dead. See if you can get/borrow a working AGP card to make sure board not faulty.

Or try your card in friends PC if poss if its broke use as door stop and get a 9800pro from user market or second hand from bay.

Would pick one up for around £35-£45 and good card
