Just a quick question...

Hi guys,

Im about to buy this to use as a server case as I have a spare skt 939 board

Antec Performance TX1088AMG Metallic Grey Tower Case - 480w Truepower PSU (CA-035-AN)

I know this series of cases have either 2 or 3 HDD LED's and Im planning on using around 4 IDE/SATA drives. The question is - where do these extra LED's plug into?! I dont think I have came across an ATX board that has pins for more than 1 HDD.

I have never found out where they go personally.

Probably a use if your using a controller card of some type.

A hard-drive controller card, a PCI/e-based expansion card with a SCSI, SATA or PATA controller chip on it for adding more devices beyond what the motherboard can support, or with extra functions, such as RAID or NCQ. Some of these controllers have LED pinouts for connecting to front panel activity LEDs.
