Just a quick spec check before i order

Hi guys, i'm building a new PC next week and just wanted to put up my spec to see if i've got it all right and make sure nothing is missing. I will use it for gaming, streaming and some GoPro editing. I realise some of it may be overkill but i only upgrade every now and then so i try and buy the best i can when i do.

The one thing i'm a bit confused on is the RAM, is my Corsair RAM choice ok? i noticed the price of 2800mhz was cheaper than 2600mhz and that the timings are pretty different with a lot of the kits and got somewhat confused. i usually just bought 1600mhz DDR3 on older machines but this is the first time i'm buying quad channel DDR4 so i do not want to get the wrong ones.
 
PSU could be changed for a EVGA and if you want to go SLI you need more power. I recommend 1Kw especially because of X99.

The 2TB WD Black can be swapped out for a WD red and that helps pay for the bigger PSU.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've never considered SLI in the future but it may actually be worth if i can get a second card cheaper later on. Although im also considering buying one of those NVMe PCIe drives when they become a bit more mainstream and the second card would be hindered by the lack of PCIe lanes on the 5820k no?

i have also only ever bought Corsair PSUs, are the EVGA ones a solid choice then?
 
EVGA G2 are made by Superflower and have a 10 yr warranty.

As for the lack of lanes from the CPU, adding a 5930K to the above specs takes them to £1900'ish.

Or let me see how the Gigabyte behaves with a 5820K, the Gigabyte website tells you everything you need to know about slots and lanes.

* For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIE_1 slot; if you are installing two PCI Express graphics cards, it is recommended that you install them in the PCIE_1 and PCIE_2 slots.

2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x8 (PCIE_3/PCIE_4)
* The PCIE_4 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIE_1 slot. When the PCIE_4 slot is populated, the PCIE_1 slot will operate at up to x8 mode.
* When an i7-5820K CPU is installed, the PCIE_2 slot operates at up to x8 mode and the PCIE_3 operates at up to x4 mode.
(All PCI Express x16 slots conform to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)

Reading that with two cards you will get 16X/8X and a 4X (for the Intel 750) if you use a 5820K.
