That should be fine. Keeping my old Tagan 580 PSU, cheiftek case, soundblaster audigy, kb mouse etc. Any other ideas?

And yes I am hoping to get a nice oc out of the conroe, hence the ram. 19" does max 1280x1024 hence only needing 256meg gfx

If you are clocking then perhaps buy the OEM conroe and choose your own heatsink fan, perhaps a

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) (HS-017-AR)

would do the trick .
