Just a quick upgrade question!

Just quickly lol, I currenlty have an amd phenom 2 on an AM2 mobo with 8gb DDR2. What would the performance increase look like, in percent, if I got a new mobo and DDR3?

Not enough to spend £80+ on ram, then new mobo.

Hmmm, this was my concern. I mean the jump from DDR2 to DDR3 I'm not sure about, but going AM2 to AM3 also increases the cpu fsb a lot too doesnt it?

the performance gain wont be all that noticable tbh, and not really worth the money u'll need to spend on it.

only advantage would be more future proof as u'll be able to use the ram in newer builds
