Would it technically be possible to have a water cooling system in your pc thats done via the plumbing in the house?

I would have thought with a few choice fitting it's possible to physically connect it up.

You mean running the cold water through it? Not sure how it would be circulated when pc is in use though.

you could use a heat exchanger - keep the internal loop closed (and free from rubbish) and use the house plumbing to remove the temperature.

Could work as long as there's plenty of flow in your pipes, waste water much though?

There's nasty stuff in home heating systems to stop the radiators rusting. This would be likely to clog up your cpu blocks. I'm not sure what pressure heating systems run at so can't say whether it would be appropriate or not.

One of these days I'm going to get around to running pipes out of my computer, into a standard radiator, which is immersed in a water tank. Heat goes from radiator into the water, but the liquids don't mix. Heat exchanger fashion. So I would propose submerging a radiator in the water tank but keeping the actual liquids separate.

Fairly sure there was a thread (although could've been the US overclockers) about a guy who had a massive radiator/plumbing type thing underground in his garden and had radiator pipes running to his PC etc etc. Will try and find the link

That's a crazy cooling system, don't think i'd want to dig my garden up just to cool the PC :D

Fair play for trying something different though.

Selling point for a property perhaps? 'You can set your pc to be watercooled using the back garden!Instant £10 000 addition to price.
