Right oh, picked this up in the sales to replace my son's broken amd 5700xt
it came snug as a bug in it's retail packaging, in the obligatory anti-static bag,
nice looking, reasuringly heavy card for a cheapish card, no RGB, sadly, or lit up logo
he's very much into Marvel Rivals atm, so all testing has been done on that so far, 3Dmark to follow
In rivals@1080p he is getting 140-150fps, on high settings
I got it in the sales for less than £250, its RRP is just shy of £400, and is available for under £350, both at ocuk, and elsewhere
it was an easy card to overclock, using asus's own easy to use, overclocking program,(even for my son, who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer) the memory overclock went esp high, and the core clock went up by a third too, check out the image above for that,
the real test will be at 1440p which will be his next upgrade, but all the videos show the card punching well above its weight @1440p, even with only 8GB of VRAM, maybe later that amount of ram will be a hold back, , but hey, that'll be the excuse to get a new GPU
I'd call this card mid gaming tier, because it certainly gets the job done without breaking the bank,
Overall, it's an easy
8.5/10 from me, a lit up asus logo mark would have made it a 10/10
I'll revisit this post when he get the 1440p screen
