A full build with a 7800x3d and a 4090 is really cheap.

It’s a bit of an unknown as to what £2k gets you once the new hardware releases. A 4090 will still be a beast

Its a tough 1, no one knows what the 50xx GPUs will be like for performance based on previous gen and the same with the 9800X3D.

a lot of people will be selling off their 40 series cards now while they can get more for them rather than waiting for the 50xx series to release.

What are you current PC specs and are you having any performance issues with it to require the upgrade?

Maybe able to suggest an upgrade costing a lot less or something to keep you going until the 50xx cards and the 9800X3D comes out

What do you use the PC for?

For 1440 a 4090 is already over kill I think I’d be leaning towards buying it for £2k and enjoying it rather than waiting to see what the 50 series does.

If it’s 3 weeks old with the warranties it’s a steal

Rumours are the 5090 could be £2k alone, the 5080 may match the 4090 but how much will it be? Chances of building a 9800x3d and 5080 machine for £2k are very slim. That’s if we can even get the gear straight away. Might be sold out. Might be another scalper situation. Who knows

case £135 (155 ocuk)
mobo £230
7800x3d £440
ram £110
gpu £2000
4tb ssd £310
cooler £150
triple pack fan £50
singlr fan £17
psu £220
cable £19

so ~£3700 plus windows, and fact it's built already. Seems a good deal to me. I'd buy it

That's a good deal, if warranty can be used otherwise you taking a risk, if no warranty I wouldn't touch it personally as I don't have another 1-2k to drop on GPU if goes wrong, mind you never head one fail on me, but that is my personal situation. DO you know the seller by any chance that would make a difference is well.

I'd want to see it running in person and confirm that the spec is what is stated, and not just with CPU/GPU-Z pull ups. I'd want to see a bench or two from the likes of Cyberpunk 2077.

I'd be very hesitant to buy a rig with those specs online and have them shipped from a random internet goer, but it's not a bad price for the kit at all if you're confident it's legitimate.
