Okay dokay. Well, you have the right idea/placement. If that doesn't feel secure then I would be inclined to say you might have bad insertion depth - try a different tip, see if that helps.

Try the foam tips? Give them a good roll between your fingers, insert them (be quick about it, so they dont expand before getting into your ear canal) and then let them expand. Should be the most secure of fits.

Just ordered a set. Hoping there worth the punt. Just can't seem to find a set of in ear monitors I get on with. I bought a set of klipsh x10 and was so unimpressed by them. Also tried a set of senhiser in ear that were around £60 , again unimpressed . I was all set to order a set of shire 425 until I saw this thread ,hoping this will save me a few pennies :p

managed to get hold of a set, works fine with the right ear, left ear is still giving me a bit of trouble though.

seems that the more i move the cable wiggle is causing issues with the left piece, while the right one is fine.

had to work the lead so the small piece of plastic on it has the wires going to the headphones fitting me like a sodding chin strap, its helping but i'm still not 100% happy.

looking for a decent variety pack of the foam tips, ones i got at the moment are small, so hoping medium/large will solve the problems with the left ear, fingers crossed......

It's common for people to have different sized and shaped ear canals and I'm surprised it doesn't come up more often.

never come across it before, i usually have no problem or problems with both sides, usually to do with the cable tugging.

tried the over the ear grips before and they were to uncomfy, also had in-ear pieces that hold in position and those worked fine without any discomfort.

i'm hoping this will solve it as the sound from them when their located properly is brilliant.

Ordered a pair, despite me having some SoundMagic PL30's and JLab Epic Bluetooth's that I've only just imported from the US and cost me about £90 all in. They had better be good, Cookeh!

Fantastic. Will see what the supplied ones are like and go from there.

Listening to them now, these will definitely do a job of blocking out some engine noise I think. The foam tips are good.

At first I thought I had an issue with one of the buds being louder than the other, but I think I just had one of them pushed too far in to my ear. They fit my ears perfect and I have pretty flat ears, the casing slots in nice.

Now to update my Spotify with music that makes the most of them :D (Any recommendations?)

manage to sort some tips out that seem to be working (called triple flange), had a quick go with them and going ok so far.

feel across a little tweak that helped with the wire being looped passed by the ear pieces on my glasses, but don't want to take the chance that the pressure (even though its not much) will damage the wire :(.
