I had a 7900GTX which didn't clock brilliantly on stock cooling but I didn't persevere much. Also, mine got very hot IIRC, even at stock clocks. If it's the magic 333 your after, even on low settings it may struggle, but not sure.

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge will come along.

7900GTO/GTX won't hold 333 in COD4 even on lowest settings except possibly at 512x384 maybe - you should be able to hold 125fps on lowest settings with one tho at 1024x768 or so - except in the very odd really busy parts.

Had a 7950GT that was overclocked to 670/1670 and was geting around 80 fps at 1440x900 with everything at min settings. Wasnt smooth though.

I bought this card when it 1st came out (I've still got it too) I've read that you can flash the bios on this card to a GTX at your own risk.

Yup the memory often can't take the GTX settings and without a second videocard and a bit of luck (or an automated boot flash disc and lots of luck) you will end up with an unuseable card.
