I am getting a pre-build - primarily to play games on (also for general use at home - internet use, media). The main game I play is WOW (obviously I will be playing higher end games as well). Let me first say that I know little about PC hardware. So please can I just ask a couple of questions:

* Should I be getting a soundcard with this? Without one will sound still play through my monitor, and will there be an audiojack?

* For the optical drive it says ''please check chassis support'' - I couldn't do this, so can someone please just tell me whether it's compatible?

* Finally, I clearly need the USB network adaptor to connect to wifi wirelessly, but is there still a port to connect an ethernet cable and use a wired connection?

What case did you pick do you need an optical drive? the 6600k is better value than the 6700k for gaming all motherboards come with an ethernet port and the onboard sound should be sufficent unless you got top end speakers.
