Bought a powercolor card and am like a kid at Christmas so just couldn't resist sharing :)

Hopefully this card should be a monumental upgrade from my pair of 3 series cards, at first I was set on waiting and seeing what happens, then I was seriously considering a single 5770 and following it up with another later... finally I found a 5850 for a fair amount less than 2x 5770 so couldn't resist and just bit the bullet.

I am just trying to work out how to sneak it past the mrs now? :p
 
I think you made the right choice, if you can go the extra the 5850 is worth it and later if you do add a second there are much better gains to be had.

I am sitting here waiting on mine turning up.....patience....
 
mine doesn't arrive till tomorrow :mad:... but my boss let me put it through the company so no VAT which is nice :D

I am still going to sell off my 3 series cards which are worth about a fiver each or something to try and recoup some cash but I must admit it was a bit of a impulse buy.

I just hope that I am happy with the performance now.
