Just bought a DS

And loving it, my last hand-held was a GB Color. I always wanted the old sega handhelb but couldn't afford it and was always upset that i couldn't play Sonic. But Nintendo has it! So my question is -

What are any recommended games for it?

I have Pokemon Pearl but I wondered about that Sonic game and Advance Wars?

Anybody got any opinions?

hehe welkl if you get the R4DS or M3 SIMPLY game cards for it you can play the origional quake on it

and listen to music and watch vids... and not to mention on the free homebrew games out there

I must say I was shocked at the selection. Theres loads of games. Some of the ones I recognised - Pokemon, Sonic (yey!), mario, various sony titles like cooking mama, final fantasy, advance wars, spiderman, driving games, platforms...even Dawn of War! I really am happy with the idea of this console due to the massive selection and mroe importantly, variation of games titles.

Sonic Rush is excellent, go for it.

Also go for Phoenix Wright.

I got a DS.. never use it

I was going through Zelda but then one day... i got halo 3...

Sonic rush is super awesome! As well as all the games mentioned above.

I sold me DS Lite more than a year ago and I still regret doing it.

I'm quite happy with my 360 at the moment though. (it's also costing me a fortune

Well I learnt many games can be played multiplayer even if only 1 player has the game itself on their DS so I can play mariokart and bomberman with my cousins who have a DS lite too

I went to pick up a DS this evening from Blockbuster but all they had were PINK versions and no black

Another vote here for Phoenix Wright.

One of the best game series ever.

Also Mario Kart. Probably the best version of MK ever and on multiplayer it cant be beaten. Not online tho, americans cheat :mad:
