hello, my pre-built pc from OCUK just aarrived and i was wondering...when it shows systems performance, it shows 2.4ghz for the CPU, but the page which the system spec was on showed that OCUK would overclock it to 3.0ghz..i cant find a piece of paper showing me how to do this overclock

maybe someone from ocuk can shed some light onto the matter

Download CPU-Z this will give you the speed of which your processor is running at.

Can you link to which system you bought.

It might be SpeedStepping...have a gander in the bios and see if SpeedStep and C1E support are enabled.
