Just bought a PS2

I've been getting fed up with my PSP lately and the pure amount of PS2 ports so I decided to sell it and get a second hand PS2 instead so I can play some of the games i've missed over the years.

Games so far = Metal Gear Solid 3
Guitar Hero
Final Fantasy X
Devil May Cry 3

Any other interesting games I should get apart from the obvious ICO and SOC?

I'm loving Final Fantasy atm and Metal gear Solid is certainly more of a challenge than previous installments.

That's assuming you haven't got a 360 for Burnout: Revenge.

Excellent selection so far. Shadow of the Colossus is definately worth getting at some point.

Beyond Good and Evil is criminally underated, it's in my top 5 games of this gen. It plays a bit like Zelda but with less fairies.

Get Pro Evolution Soccer 5, it's the best game ever even if you don't like football.

If you enjoy rythm and action games then Gitaroo Man might be worth tracking down, I've had it a few years and it still gets a run out every so often.

the best so far for me have been god of war and resident evil 4.
Black would have been on there, but for the crazy game save design, or lack of should a say.

i take it you want ps2 exclusives..so..

god of war / onimusha series / shadow of collosus / zone of the enders: 2nd runner / Prince of Persia series for action/adventure
soul calibur 3 / tekken 5 for beat em ups

as for quirky.. We ♥ Katamari, gitaroo man, amplitude are someof the stuff im after and look pretty damn funky

surprised it hasnt be mentioned yet (unless i missed it) but Farenheit is the game that got me back into console gaming, i would highly reccomend it

+4 for all of those except GT4 which I despise.

Get GTA:San Andreas? Good fun.

Also, Get MGS2 as it's also great fun and not too pricey now.
