Hi guys,
Bought a PS4 yesterday and decided to put the console into rest mode so power could be provided over USB in order to give the two controllers a good charge.
Came back from work today and the console refused to come out of rest mode, despite pressing the PS button on the controller (which was lit up blue, showing it was connected) and pressing the standby button on the front of the console itself.
I had to pull power to get the console to get around the issue, which is obviously not a solution I want to be using all the time.
Is this a common issue anyone has come across, or maybe a defective unit?
Cheers
