.... Zalman GT900 Black Z-Machine Case!

Anyway, im running a Q9450 @ 3.4ghz on a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro idling @ 51° and hitting 64° on prime95 (fan is constantly on full). I'd like these temps to be considerably lower, but im not really up to date with the latest fans etc. Im looking to push my Q9450 as far as I can, so I want a new fan which can keep it nice and cool whilst also looking good in my new case!

So people.. I ask... What do you suggest?!

Get yourself a decent noctua cooler or a TRUE - the freezer 7 pro was a great cooler at one time, but it's been rapidly outpaced by coolers designed for quads.

Noctua NH-U12P = £50

Then bung a couple of the same fan in as case fans, and that should do the job nicely :-)

Yes it was

I rang up OCUK and they said there will be nothing wrong/missing with/from the actual case, just maybe instructions or a battered box or something =)

Haha, Im thinking so, that ones no longer in the clearance!

Also, go for Noctuas like Audigex said, not the prettiest of fans but they damn good!!

Also consider the Titan Fenrir CPU cooler though, cheaper and very good indeed

Apparently it makes a hell of a noise though. It is one of the best coolers available, however.

True, it is meant to be a little on the noisy side haha. Noctua for good cooling and quiet, Titan for great cooling and a good chunk of noise lol.

It's the fan that make the noise (well most of it)
Just use a different fan if you find it to noisey.

Just one of the reasons I recoment the the Mugen 2 if your budget/colour sence can't do the Noctua

Or I guess you could just hook the fan up to a fan controller if you have one
