somehow this game slipped by me last year? What are your opinions? On the site it says its possible to play online with >100 ppl, I'm not expecting that but whats the server situation like now? and any suggested mods?
 
Get it patched, hit the iGi servers. Enjoy. :)

Superb game, but hard on the system - brings most to their knees.
 
Recently reinstalled this game and patched it up to the latest version.

As already said, makes a big difference to playability if you patch, so get it done ASAP m8.

I've not played online, but I'm working my way back through the campaign missions and really enjoying them all.

Then, after that, there are all the community based missions out there to try. Think that's why I love Arma and OFP, they seem to have designed the game with a forethought to the modding community. Some of the mods out there are simply amazing.
 
I'm quite looking forward to flying some heli's in this when I put the new build together. Hopefully I'll be able to make some compromise on the system to factor in a trackir as well. Had my eye on one of them for a while and it looks to work well in this game. :D
 
I want to have a go at freetrack since I've got so much spare time to do some DIY.
Whats the biggest number of people in a server you've seen?
