Yes I'm behind the times but can anyone recommend servers to play on or are the ones in game good enough? any hints or tips for a MP noob please?

I did search previous threads but nothing current atm

Sorry to off a bit off topic, but relating to BF2 has anyone got this working in Win 7 64bit? as I had trouble with mine in Vista 64bit. I'm a bit reluctant to get the discs out and go through that pain again. :p

Remember to update to the latest patch for some nice new maps and such :)

Also - after you have played with BF2 for a little while, may well be worth grabbing Project Reality :) Remember also to do some training before you play with the big guys - they take it very seriously and you can't just run off on your own :p

Then, if you like project reality, buy ARMA II :)

To be honest, I like BF2 and find it fills a niche quiet well.

Not as "arcadey" as the recent COD games yet simpler than the ARMA games.

my bad, was a quick reply. But yeah the latest patch gives you loads of stuff. Get playing regular on a good server and get to know people/squad up with them etc all the time :)

know any good servers please?

Also is it very advantageous to use voice comms? I have an elara clip on that I mounted behind my monitor so its not great and annoying if I attach it to my shirt

I'll have a look at projectreality once I've got to grips with the game, atm there are loads of buttons to use lol. I have patch 1.5
