Just bought BF2....

Be prepared to either love it or hate it.... 1.5patch really changed things for the worse, hit boxes are so different its unreal!

From 1.41 to 1.5 you think its changed for the worse?

Couldnt disagree more dude, i barely even noticed a change upon install. However since ive had hardly any "WTF i shot you!" moments.

Also, since 1.5 ive not seen a single comander hack. And getting called a "aimbot" is still a compliment

Beware picking random servers, atleast for the time being. It seems that the kiddies are out in force in BF2 again. TKing for vehicles, C4 explosives under your feet at the helicopter spots, permanent queues of half the players waiting around for vehicles the entire game, various forms of spam like "Infantry spotted" over and over and over.

Basically the exact reasons I stopped playing 2 years ago. I'm hoping the immature elements of the gaming community will leave soon enough though. There's just been a bit of an influx again apparently after 1.5 patch.

Its prob just me, i moved to CSS and cameback. I've seen a huge amount of posts saying that 1.5 totally recked the game. For me i could hit people close up but long distance was a nightmare!!

With regaurds to hacking i agree i only twice saw a hacker and because of the servers i played on took screen shots and the site admin looked back thro the recorder and bannd them.
