Just bought C1 - didn’t know about the C2! Mistake?

Did I mess up buying a C1 now when the C2 is around the corner? I’m worried I’ve cocked up!

You'll have likely saved a lot anyway. Not sure there's anything new on them, going by lg's track record they might remove something :cry:

Nah C2 won't be anywhere near the price of a C1 until November

The C1 uses the same panel that was in the CX, C9, C8, whereas the C2 uses the new 'Evo' panel that debut last year in the more expensive G1 range. It goes brighter than the old panel

So go to picture quality and that will prob be tge difference as c2 uses g1 panel

Actually quite a few of the latest manufactured C1s contain same oled Evo panel as G1, just without the G1 software for it.

no you have not done the wrong thing. I ordered the c1 77 which is currently £1200 less than the C2.

the c2 is not worth the increased price over what still is a very good TV

Best time to buy is now imo. C2 will be good value in a year :cry:

A guy on youtube with 2 massive subwoofers did a review and said stick with the C1. I'm tempted by a 55 C1 to upgrade from my BX to be honest.

if you have a BX, why bother. Wait 6 months the C2 will be the same price as the C1 now. Or wait and see what the QD oled prices do...

You've not done the wrong thing. Many people buy the previous model just before the new model releases to get them cheap.
