Just Bought CSR Design Suite.....

Hi,

Recently just got a new MBP, and today bought a copy of CS3 Design Suite, not installed it yet as i'm out tonight, just wanted to ask what are peoples general opinions of this software, i know i should have asked before hand but got a good deal on it i think.

It's brilliant, runs fast on a Mac too.

Depends what your using for?? I use Photoshop CS3 for digital photography, and never looked back since.

Also, I recommend you buy The Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby, it's got everything you can think of and more for a digital photographer using CS3. Never going to get rid of my copy

If you've got a credit card, and don't mind adding to the bill every month, then www.lynda.com is invaluable for video tutorials.

Think it's about $25 per month which isn't really that much considering how many tutorials are on the site - it's not just Adobe software that's covered too.

This sounds slightly dodgy to be honest with you mate - it's priced at a point well outside of something you'd buy before you knew people's opinions on it.

Are you sure you got a good deal, as opposed to getting ripped off (eg paying for pirated software)?

Got the Windows version of it, and its a awsome package, you won't be unhappy

Can't wait to get my Mac to get in there as its ment to preform better

Well i paid £600 for the suite, activated and everything got original box etc and manuals and serial etc i think it's all good, very very good copy if not

Not sure then to be honest, it matches quite well with upgrade pricing but you got the full version so who knows.

It's also the US price of Design Standard.
