Just bought my 1st DSLR

Hi, had a partner some years ago and she was a photographer and had a Nikon D80 & D7000. I enjoyed using the D80 and getting into photography.

Finally bit the bullet today and bought from a reputable photographers in Sheffield.

A Used Nikon D80 with 16,000 (shutter count)

Nikkor DX 18-70mm

8GB Memory card, cleaning kit, 2 Nikon Batteries, case etc.

£430 with 12 months warranty.

Not sure if a 'great' deal. But they were very helpful and not pushy at all.

Of to work soon, but will play with the camera over the weekend.


Looking forward to getting back into a spot of Photography.

Yes it was 'Harrison Camera's' Rerally helpful people in there.

The camera and lens are in mint condition. Not a mark on them

£250 for Camera, (incl x2 Nikon Batteries, charger, cables, strap)

£150 for Lens

£20 8GB SanDisk Extreme memory card

£10 Cleaning kit.

gave me a free bag (Cobra) and UV Filter for lens.

I believe I will be happy enough. Only thing that was missing was user manual and they forgot to let me have a 'eye piece' as it seems to be missing one (Do I need one?)

have found user manual on-line anyhow.
