texas chainsaw massacre the beginning
saw3
xfiles season 1

Are these a good watch ive got both saw films and i heard this one is the best out the trilogy.
With the texas chainsaw massacre the beginning i bought that cause i was interested in finding out how leatherface became the way he was.
Xfiles i remember watching some episodes and they were really good is this a series worth collecting.

Im still waiting for them to arrive so get me excited about them plz :)

The x-files are nothing short of superb, i've seen every single episode of all seasons and loved every second :)

sorry to 'hijack' your thread as it were, but, re: x-files

enjoyed the handful of episodes i watched years ago, but the series' were ever so slightly before my time, so never really got on the bandwagon per se. Have always wanted to pick them up, but the thought of maybe 10(?) series @ 30-40 quid a go (as i've seen in shops) was a little off-putting. Have now just seen them for as little as £13 per series on a well known dvd site, i was wondering;

have they aged well? it's weird to think the first season came out over 10 years ago :S
am i best off going through them consecutively, ie; do they carry on from the previous episode?
and what the hell is M-Lock? i'm hoping it's something to do with the product/packaging, as opposed to being to do with the 'region' of the dvd?

cheers

x-files is awesome i own the complete 9 series box set and must admit the earlier series are so much better. i wanna go home and start watching them again :(

saw 3 is a fairly good film but you'll have to wait till the end before it all falls into place ;)

texas chainsaw massacre is nothing special, just another token horror film.

Definitely go through them consecutively, there is an underlying plot throughout the whole thing (which frankly gets a bit confusing especially in the later seasons). I'd recommend buying the first couple of seasons and watching them in order, then buy the 3rd season etc as you finish them
